Rock Banding + Bowling + 2 Gelled Lights

Some friends came over to have a BBQ rock out. We also bowled because, seriously, nothing is better than mixing your Nintendo with some Keith’s Pale Ale.

Had two lights set up, one in the camera’s upper left (upper corner of the room actually, near the ceiling) with a 1/4 CTO filter and a white gobo on top (prevents ceiling light saturation and also bounces a little more soft light at people’s faces), and one at camera right (on a book shelf) with a 1/1 CTB that was set up to have a fall off around people’s torso area. I like my parties’ photos to look as cool as the parties actually were.

These shots feature little, if any, photoshop post work. I may go back and do my thing to a couple of them.
